The Samueli Institute was born in 2023 from a rare convergence of bold visions, united by a belief in the power of integrative translational cancer research to inspire hope and save lives.

The Institute is anchored within the renowned Davidoff Cancer Center at Rabin Medical Center, pioneering patient-centric care that integrates clinical excellence, advanced therapies and healing.

Supported by the visionary Samueli Foundation, the Institute is uniquely positioned at the nexus of medical innovation and real-world data.

With access to Clalit's rich, multidisciplinary and longitudinal datasets, spanning over 5 million Israelis across community and hospital settings, the institute serves as an impact amplifier for applied cancer research, powering early detection, prediction, and the development of novel treatments through an agile, bedside-to-bench-to-bedside model.

We leverage advanced analytics, AI and ML capabilities to design multilayer and multimodal solutions that drive clinical insights, utilizing our unique access to Clalit's comprehensive birth-to-death datasets. Conducting research at the point-of-care within the Davidoff Cancer Center enables close collaboration between clinical and analytics experts to design and administrate novel treatment protocols.

We focus on unlocking advanced insights from structured and unstructured clinical data to drive novel models for early detection, prediction and prognostication, personalized treatment, and real-time clinical decision support.

This data-powered innovation is redefining the boundaries of cancer research, shaping the future of precision oncology and setting new standards for how cancer is detected, understood and treated.

Global expert in cell therapy, with 20+ years of experience in academia and industry, including vast expertise in early-stage innovation, translational research, process development and clinical manufacturing. Led 500+ CAR T and TIL in-house produced infusions, published nearly 100 research papers, and advises global biotech firms.
